STEPS:
1. Find a location that is a good size for your fair. Contact whoever is in charge of the location and arrange the use of it.
2. Confirm date and time for the Fair and communicate this information to your team.
3. Confirm with team members that they are available to assist on the day of the Fair.
4. Delegate tasks to team members…identifying & contacting art professionals, contacting area art teachers, assistance with flyers, website, and signs, publicity and securing needed supplies (tables, chairs, computer, printer, etc).
5. Contact community members with unique art related careers and invite them to participate in the Fair. As they agree to participate, collect information from them such as their email, their website, and their career information.
6. Purchase supplies (table covers, paper, card stock, etc)
7. Promote the Fair by creating and distributing flyers to area high school art teachers to pass along to art students, and announcements in community newspapers.
8. Create signage for table tops and exterior of building.
9. One week prior to Fair, confirm use of the location and supplies at the location and attendance of all professionals and team members.
10. Create handout listing all professionals attending Fair and make copies.
11. Day of Fair: Set up, host, clean up.
